A New Name and a Giveaway!

Well, now that this blog is less about the mustang challenge, and more about me and my horses in general, I figured I had better include the girls on the name. So, Two Appaloosas and a Mustang it is! I know, very creative...

Andrea, at Mustang Saga has been doing a few giveaways, and has inspired me to do one of my own! The rules are simple, just leave a comment and you have a chance to win your choice of an original painting done by me!! I don't care if you've never commented before, or if you're even a member of blogger, just leave me a comment and you could win!! It doesn't matter what you say, let me know what you think of the new name and color scheme, or just say hello! The contest will end on Friday, December 19th. Then I will draw a name out of those who left me a comment.

Here are the paintings, if you win you get to choose one.

8 by 10 acrylic portrait of Remington

9 by 12 portrait of a bald faced chestnut horse.

Does it matter if I'm the first to leave a comment??? :)

I had to check out the new blogger in town, only to find it's Jessie with a different name :) Love the new name, and those paintings are delicious!

Did you ever get the one of Rem to Patti? If so, I missed what transpired...

Great paintings--enter me in your drawing! Some one will be very lucky. :) And I like your new banner, too.

I love the new look, Jessie! That photo you used in your header is really great. And, of course I love that you have your "Appaloosa" in your new title, too, LOL! ;)

Tracey, I didn't finish the painting in time for the Ft. Worth show, so I am going to give it to her at the Midwest makeover this year. That way I won't have to ship it. It's so large that it would be very pricey to ship, so I'll save money this way!!

Linda and Pony Girl, thanks for the positive feedback on the blog!!

Are you competing in the Midwest Makeover this year? I really enjoyed watching you and Rem compete last year.

Thanks for all the comments! There will be quite a few names in that hat...

Katee, I will not be competing again this year. I don't have the money or the hay for an extra horse. I wish I could though.

I would love one of your paintings!!!

Could you let us know who will be in next year Midwest Mustang, I loved reading about them. I am making plans to go. I just had so much fun. Have A wonderful Holiday.
P.S. could we see the finished picture of Rem.

Anon, I'll do my best to find out who's in the challenge this year. I won't know all the names because I am not participating, but I'll see what I can find out, and update as I can!

I will post a picture of the large painting of Rem as soon as it's finished! I put it on hold in order to get my Christmas commissions done, but I'll be sure to update!
